ANTIGONI BUXTON

Antigoni Buxton is a British Cypriot singer and songwriter of Greek Cypriot heritage, born and raised in North London. Named after her grandmother, she pursued music from a very young age, signing her first publishing deal at just 14 years old.

Since then, she has developed a distinctive artistic sound that blends influences from pop, hip-hop and traditional music, naturally weaving elements of her Greek and Cypriot cultural heritage into contemporary sonic landscapes. The result is a musical identity that feels fresh, modern and instantly recognisable, with a strong personal character and international outlook.

Over the course of her career so far, she has released a series of tracks that showcase her expressiveness, stage presence and artistic growth. Her releases include “Hit List”, “You Can Have Him”, “Long Way Home”, “Meine (Stay)”, “Habibi”, “Sleeping Alone”, “Man Behind the Wall” and “JALLA”. At the same time, she has built an audience beyond the borders of the United Kingdom, steadily establishing herself as an artist with growing international appeal.

Her international journey includes a collaboration with acclaimed Egyptian artist Ahmed Saad, through a high-end production accompanied by a music video filmed in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The release was part of a major advertising campaign across the Middle East during Ramadan 2025, achieving strong traction and a powerful presence on music platforms.

She has also appeared alongside leading names in the Greek music scene, including Marina Satti on tour across the United Kingdom and Europe, as well as in performances with Christos Mastoras and Eleni Foureira in London. In 2024, she was a featured artist at Nikos Vertis’ YTON The Show in Athens. In September 2025, she toured across the United Kingdom and Europe with Marina Satti, and in March 2026 she performed in Chicago, supporting Konstantinos Argyros at the 20,000-capacity United Center. She has also previously been invited to perform at a private event at the High Commission of Cyprus in London.

In 2026, she was selected to represent Cyprus at the 70th Eurovision Song Contest with “JALLA”, marking the fulfilment of a childhood dream. For her, this participation is a major milestone in her artistic journey and an opportunity to showcase Cyprus and its contemporary creative identity on one of the world’s biggest music stages.

Antigoni Buxton is the first artist to be supported by ENA Foundation through its new OPEN CANVAS program. This support is linked both to her artistic journey and to her ability, through her international presence and especially her participation in Eurovision, to promote Cyprus abroad. Through OPEN CANVAS, ENA Foundation seeks to support creators who develop their work consistently while also serving as contemporary ambassadors for the country and its culture.

“I am very happy that ENA Foundation is now a major supporter of mine. From the very first moment I met the team, I was truly touched by the Foundation’s work and by the meaningful way in which it supports people and initiatives in Cyprus. I would like to warmly thank Mr Tasos Papanastasiou for believing in me and for supporting young people who strive to achieve their dreams. It is incredible how far a dream can go when there are people who truly believe in it. I am genuinely proud to be part of this effort and I look forward to everything that lies ahead.”
