Milan Trajkovic (born 17/03/1992) is a track and field athlete in the 110 metres hurdles. He grew up in the Serbian town of Surdulica, but at the age of nine he migrated with his family to Cyprus due to the NATO bombings in Yugoslavia—an experience that shaped both his personal life and his sporting journey.
At the Rio de Janeiro 2016 Olympic Games, he qualified for the 110m hurdles final, recording 13.41 and 13.31 in the semifinals, and became the first Cypriot athlete to reach an Olympic final in this event. In 2019 he won the gold medal in the 60m hurdles at the European Indoor Championships, becoming European Champion.
His personal bests are 13.25 in the 110m hurdles (0.0 m/s, London 2017) and 7.51 in the 60m hurdles (Birmingham 2018); both are current national records for Cyprus. In 2024 he qualified for the final of the World Indoor Championships in Glasgow and placed 8th, and that same summer at the Paris Olympic Games he advanced to the semifinals, missing qualification for the final by one place and finishing 9th overall.
Milan continues his studies at postgraduate level, attending the MBA program at the University of Nicosia.
