Constantina Georgiou is 21 years old (born 15/07/2004) and has been a cycling athlete for 11 years. From a very young age she showed interest in sports and tried quite a few. However, cycling seemed to win her heart and prevail over everything else she tried. Now she has a daily routine that combines sport, studies, and work.

She is an active member of the national mountain biking and road cycling team (endurance and time trial). She competes in both mountain biking and road cycling races; nevertheless, she has a particular love for mountain biking. Some of her achievements in recent years: over the last two years she focused on the XCE (eliminator) event, where in 2024 she won 3rd place at the European Championships and at the World University Games. She was 7th (2023), 10th (2024), and 8th (2025) at the World Championships in that event, and a Balkan champion (2022). In addition, she won the Balkan Championship in the Olympic event XCO (cross-country) in 2024. In total, she has won 15 Cyprus National Championships so far. Her goal over the next two years is to secure qualification in the Olympic event (XCO – cross-country) and be in Los Angeles 2028. Through cycling she learned to respect nature and see it differently, because a bicycle can take you to places that are impossible to reach by car. Each new day brings her a new route and new challenges; however, she has strong determination and wants to achieve any goal she sets.

In her free time, she chooses to be with her loved ones and take part in activities that fulfill her, maintaining balance between responsibilities and personal moments.

She is in her 4th year of studies at the University of Nicosia in Sports Science and, at the same time, works a few hours a week at a gym to gradually gain more experience in the field. After completing her undergraduate studies, she aims to continue with a postgraduate program.

“For me, the support of ENA FOUNDATION is very important, because it shows me that there are people who believe in my abilities. In addition, through the sponsorship I can cover part of my annual expenses, both for my academic needs and my athletic ones, since cycling is a particularly costly sport.”
